FAQs
Q: "I've got a dog and or gun, do I really need a security system?"
A: Certainly every little bit helps; dogs, guns and lighting. With our essential system you'll know when you come home that someone's not waiting for you, your spouse or your kids. Add a Heat / Smoke Detector to that and if your home catches on fire it dispatches your local fire dept to your home. (Even if you're not there!)
Q: "I've got bars over my windows, isn't that enough?"
A: Almost half of all burglars enter through the front door not through a window.
The problem with bars over windows is not only do they keep people out but also they keep you in! Fire fighters call them "Grillers" because they prevent the fire fighters from breaking out windows to enter a home during a rescue attempt increasing the chance that the people and pets inside will not survive.
Q: "My neighbor has a security system won't that help to protect me?"
A: Only if your neighbor is home to see the crime happening or to see your house on fire. More than likely criminals will see you as an easier target.
Q: "If I put a sign in my yard won't criminals think I have something important
inside to protect?"
A: By prominently displaying the fact that your home is equipped with a home security system, you are 15 times less likely to be broken in to. The majority of convicted intruders say they stay away from homes with security systems. And besides you do have something important inside to protect, your family and yourself.
